I had forgotten how much I enjoyed reading or listening to a Jill Shalvis book. A month later at her sister's wedding rehearsal Chloe get a proposal and accepts. Sawyer and Chloe tell each other they have feeling for each other. She realized during the standoff that she needs to tell her sisters and Sawyer that she loves them. In a standoff she takes the situation in hand and then is sent to the ER because of the asthma.
Chloe is drawn into Sawyer's DEA case and held hostage. When she see some suspicious movement near the B&B and investigates. They celebrate their success by going to the mud springs and her sisters are drunk only to be found by Sawyer who misses an important message. Her sister's and Chloe add a spa to the B&B so that she can stay close to home. The town puts their advice into the mix as well. Chloe is always there to be his support when he needs it. As the become closer and start falling for each other Sawyer's assignment helping the DEA gets in the way. After a night of drunken painting at Sawyer's house they are caught by his friends with paint in unusual places. That scares Sawyer so when they come together the next time he's prepared and so is Chloe. Sawyer comes and takes care of them and then takes Chloe to his house to get cleaned up only they become intimate and before the can finish she suffers an asthma attack and they go to the ER.
When a shady friend of a friend picks her up and she makes him stop for a stranded motorist she's left behind. After Chloe has a disagreement with her sisters and goes to check out the mud springs she's stranded. As they get to know each other and realize they're more alike than they realize they become closer and the desire becomes more intense. Sawyer is so into Chloe he's even breaking the rules for her. Also Sawyer is always stopping by the B&B for her sister's coffee. They are brought together when Chloe and her best friend steal some pit bulls from a dog fighter.
